    ICT in education.

    1. Educational CDs can be used to get more details about subject matters. Viewing such lesson, can get clear understanding with attractive pictures, videos, audio and animations.
    2. ICT can be used to make teaching tools.
    3. Can use presentations by including pictures, videos audios to explain difficult theories. Ex: to explain about tsunami, a volcano
    4. E-learning
      e-Learning is the use of technology to enable people to learn anytime and anywhere. This includes Computer Based Training(CBT), Web based Training (WBT), Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS), online tutorials, e- Books.
      Through internet can learn using online distance education systems
    5. Learning Management System(LMS)
      This enable an organization to train large group of students. Using LMS users can log on and can easily access the training materials (courses, online exams, syllabuses, Pre Assessments, etc).

    ICT in Health Sector

    1. Computer can be used to monitor lots of diseases in the body.
      Ex. Monitor Dental Conditions – The condition of the teeth can be seen at the Computer Monitor
      Certain equipment use in hospitals to identify the abnormalities, tumors and several diseases in the body.
         Ex. MRI Scanner, CAT Scanner, EEG/ECG machines
      MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Scanner 
      This is the way of getting pictures of various parts of the body without using x-Ray s. This machine can create digitalized images of internal organs of the body by using strong magnetic fields and radio waves. These images are very helpful in the detection and deciding on treatment of diseases.
      CAT(Computer Axial Tomography) Scanner
      This is a method of combining the images from multiple x-rays  under the control of the  computer. This produces 3D pictures of the internal organs. These images are helpful in the diagnosis of diseases
      EEG (Electro Encephalo Graph)
      These is a recording of electrical signals from the brain and send them to the galvanometers and send the signals on the graph paper.
    2. Telemedicine
      ​This is a method of diagnosing and treatments of patients in a remote area using telecommunication and information technology by medical professionals. This will allow much of the work currently carry out in hospitals, to be carry out in patients’ home under any health care professional . Remote Surgery also can be done through telemedicine techniques.


    • Rural patients can get treatments without traveling more.
    • Saving large sums of money on travel, food and accommodation. 


    • Legal issues regarding doctors licensing.

    Devices (use to minimize the harmful effects caused by insects), Field conditions measuring devices (fertility and humidity levels of soil), Automatic Weed remover, Seedlings planter using Robotics

    3.    Meteorological systems can be used to forecasting weather, testing soil condition. Such data are useful in deciding on the crop cultivation and harvesting times.

    1.    Computerized machines are used in industries to perform various tasks
    Ex- Today most of the work performed by the human hands are performed by robots. So 24 hour service, Never get tired, Efficiency, Accuracy, Hygiene can be gained
    2.    Computer Assisted Design (CAD) is used to design the structure of vehicles, machinery, aircrafts, mother boards etc.
    3.    Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM)  – These machines use to do hard things ex to cut hard plastics, wax, soft metals
